PYPT 2024

The 17th Persian Young Physicists’ Tournament, PYPT, was held in Feb. 2024 by Ariaian Young Innovative Minds Institute, AYIMI, and ADIB Cultural and Artistic Institute.

Team members from different schools competed with each other online over two days and six teams attended the final face to face and received gold medals.

ICO Prize 2024

The International Commission for Optics established the ICO Prize in 1982, to be given each year to an individual who has made a noteworthy contribution to optics, submitted for publication before the age of 40.

The deadline for nominations is 15th June 2024.

Deadline extended for prizes of the EPS Nuclear Physics Division

The call for nominations for both the NPD prize for PhD and the NPD Applied Nuclear Physics has been extended to 30th April 2024.

The IUPAP Conference on Computational Physics 2024, will take place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 7th-12th July 2024.

1st Symposium on the Connection between Physics and Metabolism in Brain Function
The conference will take place in Barcelona, Spain on 5th July 2024.

Course on “Operational Space Weather Fundamentals”
The course will be held from 13th-17th May 2024 in L'Aquila, Italy.
