The 2024 Landau-Spitzer Award is announced!The winners of the 2024 Lev D. Landau and Lyman Spitzer Jr. Award are Anna Grassi, Frederico Fiuza, George F. Swadling and Hye-Sook Park. The team receives the award “for the critical advancement in the understanding of the particle acceleration physics in astrophysically-relevant shocks through theoretical analysis and experiments at the National Ignition Facility”. |

2024 Prizes of the EPS Plasma Physics DivisionEarlier this summer, the EPS Plasma Physics Division had a successful conference in Salamanca, Spain. During this 50th edition poster prizes, and a project prize sponsored by Kyushu University in Japan, were awarded.
