EPS Central Distinctions & Awards

The calls are still open to nominate EPS members including chairs of divisions or groups, representatives of member societies, and EPS individual members for the following distinctions and awards: EPS Early Career Award, EPS Gero Thomas Medal, EPS Fellows, EPS Honorary Members and EPS Emmy Noether Distinction. 

The deadline to nominate is 31st January 2026.

"Collision(s)", a play based on a meeting between a playwright and a CERN particle physicist, was performed at the “Avignon Off” Festival. It will be played at the CERN Science Gateway on 5th March 2026.

Nanometa 2026
The conference will take place from 6th-9th January 2026 in Seefeld, Austria.

2nd ESPD Summer School
The summer school organised by the European Solar Physics Division will be held from 27th April - 1st May 2026 in Dubrovnik, Croatia. 

NMHT
The conference will be held in Berlin, Germany, from 20th-24th April 2026.
