EPS Emmy Noether Distinction: call for nominations

The call for the EPS Emmy Noether Distinction - Winter 2021 is open. Deadline for nominations 15th October 2021.

EPS Historic Site in Uppsala dedicated to Anders Jonas Ångström

On 6th August 2021, a new EPS Historic Site was inaugurated in Uppsala, Sweden. This is the third EPS site in Sweden and it is dedicated to Anders Jonas Ångström.

Sara Bolognesi: “Every day, I learn something new”

Kees van der Beek, chair of the EPS Equal Opportunities Committee, spoke to Sara Bolognesi of CEA-IRFU in Saclay, France, laureate of the Summer 2021 EPS Emmy Noether Distinction.

New EPS Secretary General sought

The EPS is seeking a new  Secretary General  to succeed David Lee, who plans to retire in spring 2023.

Employment is expected to begin in autumn 2022 to allow for a thorough on-the-job training.

EPS Forum Physics and Society
